Our beautiful boy woke up today!!!! He looked me right in the eye! Not sure he knows who I am but that's ok. He will.
I asked him to show me a thumbs ups and he did. Looked right at his thumb and moved it. I asked him again and he grabbed my thumb the 2nd time :)
More later I promise...just wanted to thank everyone for EVERYTHING!

Your open eyes, took me back. When they turned from side to side--- looking from your mom to your girl, my knees began to shake. When your mom asked for a thumbs-up, your eyes scanned her, turned to your thumb, and up it went. Tears flowed freely from my eyes, as I stood in awe, witnessing the marvels that love can do. You waited a while, and responded yet again--- followed by a grunt or two. You were struggling to speak, and your sister went week...... then ran to the hall to call the world and let them know. Steven is coming back to us..... Steven is back!!! I am so proud of you Steven!! Keep it comin'!!! Love from Aunt Barb.
