Just spoke with Steven's nurse, Diane, this morning. She was not the friendliest one yet...as my sister said, "Let's just hope she's having a bad morning". Yes, let's hope
Steven had a good night as far as the nurse knows. He did not open his eyes yet today, but she has only been on duty since 7 am.
Vitals are good. Did not have to put him back on any IV's.
ICU residents have not been through yet today.

Things seem to be coming along alot better huh? I keep thinking about him and you guys. I will continue to pray and cant wait for the day i get to see him again.. Luv you Steven!! Keep fighting!!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb and Pat: We remember nurses like that, too. (Some should definitely stick to lab work and not be in direct patient care.) Don't be shy in asking for a different nurse if she continues her bad mood;) The last thing you all need is any more negativity. Stay strong -- your friends and family are all pulling for you and Steven!!

ReplyDeleteAllison...I had the priest speak with her and then she was fine with me. Just wasn't giving up the info as the other nurses did. Found out she's retiring in 2 days! That's probably it.
