Well Steven had two really good days in a row...I should learn to prepare myself for bad days...
Today definitely wasn't his best day. EXTREMELY agitated. Very,very nasty to everyone except Patrick and he nurses. Lots and lots of bad words today. It's funny that he doesn't do it to Pat or the nurses.
The Dr. said it's partially because they are lowering his pain medication and part of the injury.
His therapists said he did very well. Walked quite a bit. Named numerous things while looking outside. His speech therapist said he was about 50/50 with the responses he gave.
I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow :)

Steven, today was fun for me. We talked and you made me laugh. You look better and better every time I see you. You said that lunch "sucked", I had to laugh! Mom dialed dads phone, and you held a conversation with him!! Your first phone call!!! Then you told Katie that her cat was "stupid". So I had to laugh again!!! You held my hand, and as you have been for the past couple visits, you were focused on my rings and my nails. You rub my nails and just gaze at them. When I asked if you know who does my nails, you said "dad does!" Yes, you make me laugh!!!
